Day 1 : Paris/Tangier

Upon your arrival in Tangier, you will be greeted by our team and driven to the hotel where a relaxing dinner awaits you.

Day 2 : Tangier

Guided tour of Tangier, the legendary city that, perhaps more than any other Moroccan city, has been the country’s face to the world. Tangier is a vibrant and culturally rich city with a cosmopolitan population. Visit the famous médina between the Grand and the Small Socco, Mendoubia Gardens, the Kasbah Square dominating the bay, Dar-el-Makhzen and its archaeological museum. Journey on the road to Cape Spartel where the Atlantic and the Mediterranean meet. Free time for Lunch.

Day 3 : Tangier - Tétouan - Chefchaouen - Meknès (320 km)

Depart on the road to Tétouan called “the Andalusian” because of the many Jews and expelled Moslems of Spain who migrated there after the fall of Grenade (1492) and made of Tetouan a famous artisanal center. Guided tour of the médina .This vibrant city is a major center of various decorative arts. From Tétouan, cross the breathtaking hills of the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, with its picturesque and craggy alleys and colorful painted houses of bright blue and white that converge onto a delightful square. Chefchaouen, not visited by Europeans until 1853, is a Holy City founded in the 15th century and was a haven for the refugees of Spain. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon, embark from Chefchaouen to Meknès.

Day 4 : Meknès - Volubilis - Fès (100 km)

This day starts with a visit to Meknès, the town built by one of Morocco’s most famous historical figures, Moulay Ismaïl, known as the Moroccan “Louis XIV”: Visit El Hedim Square, the famous monumental doors, Bab el Mansour, Bab el Khamis, and the immense granary. Travel on the road to Volubilis, an ancient Roman city of the 2nd century famous for its remarkable mosaics. Journey to Fes. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon, hike the ramparts and visit the fascinating vestiges of the Mérinides tombs, close to Northern Borj, and take in the spectacular view of the city. Visit to the Weapons Museum. Then on to Fès Jedid, the old “new city” for visits to the Royal Palace, the Mellah, and the colorful and ancient Jewish district, with the weathered balconies of wood and intricate wrought iron decorating the stunning scenery of the city.

Day 5 : Fès

The spiritual capital of the kingdom, Fès is a colorful and impressive city with its vibrant médina, proliferation of médersas (Islamic boarding schools), palaces, and fountains. Visit a mérinide médersa of the14th century, the sumptuously decorated Bou-Inania, the Nejjarine Square with its beautiful fountain decorated with mosaics and the beautiful Nejjarine museum dedicated to the artistry of cabinet making. Walk in the lively souqs of tanners and dyers. Free time for lunch and discovering more of this fascinating Fes.

Day 6: Fès/Benin Mellal/Ouzoud (410 km)

Travel on a breathtakingly beautiful mountain road, to Ifrane, a famous health and ski resort in the Middle Atlas. See Azrou, on its stone piton, located in the middle of an abundant forest of cedars dotted with sparkling rivers. Stopover in a welcoming and colorful Berber village. Free time for lunch. Arrive at the magical Ouzoud waterfall in the early aafternoon and enjoy the beauty of verdant green slopes and dazzling waters… the perfect place for hiking, bathing or taking in the spectacular scenery.

Day 7 : Ouzoud/Marrakech (160 km)

In the morning, depart from the hills and journey to world renowned Marrakech, the famous “city ochre” or the “Pearl of the South. Free time for lunch. During the afternoon, visit the Dar Si Said, Moroccan art museum (featuring fabulous displays of furniture, tapestries, ceramics, jewels…), the majestic Hispanic-Moorish style palace of Bahia, and the saâdi tombs (16th S.) of the medersa Ben Youssef,an old Islamic university with over one hundred classrooms. Admire the famous minaret of Koutoubia, featured in the Giralda of Sevilla and in many other movies, and works of art.

Day 8 : Marrakech

Visit the Majorelle garden, created by Jacques Majorelle, owned, and renovated by Pierre Bergé and Yves Saint Laurent The painter’s studio here has been transformed into an Islamic museum of art. Then experience the exuberant and fabulous universe of the souqs, with dyers, blacksmiths, grocers and leather dealers as you walk to Jemaâ el-Fna Square, the ” beating heart of Marrakech” classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Free time for lunch and a wonderful afternoon discovering the delights of this famous city.

Day 9 : Marrakech - Departure

Transfer to the airport and receive assistance until boarding. Or continue your stay in the mesmerizing and magical city of Marrakech.
