Day 1 : Ouarzazate
Upon your arrival at the airport of Ouarzazate, you’ll be greeted by our friendly team and taken to the hotel where dinner will be served.
Day 2 : Around Ouarzazate
After a delicious breakfast, travel to the breathtaking Oasis of Fint that the colorful Tuareg settled hundreds of years ago. Accessible only by 4×4, It Is a ravishingly beautiful location, home to the natural beauty of cliffs, rivers and sun-drenched palm trees. This fascinating oasis is home to a village house where historic Tuareg symbols painted on the walls can still be found. By late morning, return to Ouarzazate to visit the Kasbah Taourirt the magnificent former residence of the Pasha of Marrakesh, Thami El Glaoui. In the afternoon, with the help of locals, you can learn the difficult and rewarding art of portraiture. Return for the evening to enjoy a fantastic meal and a restful night at your hotel.
Day 3 : Ouarzazate
Breakfast at your hotel. Enjoy your day in the city of cinema, Quarzazate, home to one of the largest studios of Western cinema. Two very large studios built sets in this amazing location and you will enjoy viewing some of the decorations that dot the landscapes. Enjoy a spellbinding visit of sublime beauty to Lake El Mansour-Eddahbi. At the end of the day, return to your hotel for relaxation and a wonderful meal.
Day 4 : Ouarzazate - Marrakech
Leave in the morning to the world famous city of Marrakech. Stop at Ait Ben Haddou, designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Enjoy the unique architecture, and the beautiful sight of adobe houses washed in the shadows of the sun. This spectacular scenery was the location for the movie “Gladiator” and you will enjoy the colorful beauty of this fascinating location. Continue on the tracks to the remote village of Telouet, located on the south side of the High Atlas and dominated by a Kasbah formerly home to the chief of the Glaoui tribe. As you traverse the roads on your journey you will delight in the amazing array and variety of sights, sounds, and colors. On the road, you will discover beautiful landscapes of truly unmatched beauty. After lunch, continue on to Marrakech and arrive late in the afternoon. Enjoy the local cuisine at dinner and spend a restful evening at the hotel.
Day 5 : Marrakech
In the morning thrill to the sights, sound, and vibrancy of the enchanting city of Marrakech. Tour the famous Garden of Menara and after lunch visits the famous Medina. You will love strolling the narrow streets and be being in the very center of Moroccan life. The médina dates back to the 11th century and has been destroyed and rebuilt several times. It is indeed the center of the city and is surrounded by high and imposing walls. Marrakech is known for its red houses and some are stunning private palaces that have since been converted into hotels and the world famous Riads.
Day 6 : Marrakech
Enjoy a free day in Marrakech as you explore its fascinating and endless wonders. Spend the night at a delightful hotel / Riad half-board.
Day 7 : Marrakech
After breakfast, visit the Bahia Palace and the Palace el Badiaa. The Bahia Palace, where scenes from “Lawrence of Arabia” was filmed, is a remarkable monument, dating from the nineteenth century and the sumptuous former residence of a grand vizier. The incredible indoor gardens and carved cedar ceilings will take your breath away as you take in their ageless beauty. The amazing palace Badiaa was built in the sixteenth century by Sultan Ahmed el Mansour and subsequently dismantled by the Alawite Sultan Moulay Ismail so that parts of it could be utilized in the construction of the imperial city of Meknès. The palace with its walls of adobe is a truly a jewel of Islamic art. In the afternoons, visit the Majorelle garden, filled with an incredible array of gorgeous plants and flowers. Enjoy a relaxing evening at the Riad.
Day 8 : Marrakech
Depending on your scheduled departure enjoy more of the wonders of Marrakech before departing where you will be assisted until it is time for you to board.
