Itinerary
Day 1 : Agadir - Taliouine - Agdz (439 km)
After crossing the Great Plains planted with argan; arrive in Taliouine the saffron capital before discovering the famous passes of the Atlas. Spend the night in an inviting Tamnougalt Kasbah, a beautiful village 6 km from Agdz with pristine streets and ornate porches, facing the beautiful Draa Valley.
Day 2 : Tamnougalt - Merzouga (200 km)
After breakfast, travel the Draa Valley through Tazzarine, a beautiful oasis close to prehistoric sites, and enjoy the N'Kob Kasbahs typical of Alnif via Tansikht. Reach a small grove in the Merzouga desert and admire a beautiful sunset over the towering sand dunes of sand tan. Dine and spend an unforgettable night camping in the Erg Chebbi, known as the eyes of the stars.
Day 3 : Merzouga - Ouarzazate (280 km)
Leave early in the morning to Tineghir, a beautiful palm grove at the entrance of the Todra gorges among the most beautiful landscapes of southern Morocco and home to many movie locations. Enjoy a relaxing lunch and then cross the road of a thousand Kasbah in the Dades Valley with its gorgeous plantations of date palms, olive trees and fields of roses. Then on to Ouarzazate, a city of international cinematic fame to experience the beauty of its rugged landscapes and impressive mountains and regs.
Day 4 : Ouarzazate - Taroudannt - Agadir (375 km)
After visiting the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, cross the High Atlas on breathtaking passes culminating at an impressive1700 m. Lunch in Taliouine before visiting Taroudant, one of the oldest cities in Morocco, with its magnificent ramparts, crafts bazaar and Berber souk. Arrive in Agadir in the afternoon.
