Day 1 : MARRAKECH
Upon your arrival at the Ménara Marrakech airport, you will be greeted by our team and driven to the hotel where the traditional welcome of mint tea awaits you.
Day 2 : MARRAKECH/CASABLANCA/RABAT 330 km
Spend the morning in Marrakech the “pearl of the South”: Stroll through the beautiful Ménara Gardens and the charming Majorelle Garden, where the fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent has introduced many exotic plants. Visit the Saadi Tombs (16th century) and the Bahia Palace. Lunch in the heart of the famous médina. In the afternoon, journey on the road to Rabat, via Casablanca and the famous Hassan II Mosque.
Day 3 : RABAT/VOLUBILIS/MEKNÈS 250 km
Guided tour of Rabat, the administrative capital of the kingdom, famous for its provincial charm. See the Royal Palace, the Kasbah of Oudaya, the ruins of Chellah, the Mausoleum Mohammed V and the Hassan Tower. Back on the road as you journey to Meknès, via Kenitra, Visit the ruins of the Roman city of Volubilis, and the holy city of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, Morocco’s first sultan and the founder of Fès.
Day 4 : MEKNÈS/FÈS 70 km
Spend the morning in Meknès, the “Moroccan Versailles, one of the imperial cities built during the rule of the Sultan Moulay Ismaïl (17th century). After lunch, visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, the ramparts (triple enclosure of 40 km), the médina and its famous doors, Bab El Mansour and Bab Khémis. Travel on to Fès.
Day 5 : FÈS/MIDELT/JBEL AYACHI 250 km
In the morning, a guided tour of Fes, the spiritual capital of the kingdom, an artisanal center and the oldest and most prestigious of the imperial cities. See “Fès El Bali” (the former) with its famous monuments: Medersa Attarine, the Qarawiyyin Mosque, one of the oldest universities in the world (9th S), the Nejjarine fountain. Discover“Fès El Jedid” (the modern), with its enclosure and its Royal Palace. Departure to the South, through the cedars forests, plateau and lakes of the Middle Atlas. Stop at Midelt for a walk in the médina with its medersas (schools), its tombs, its palaces, and the many lanes of the souq. On the road as you travel through the magnificent landscapes of the Middle Atlas until reaching Jebel Ayachi (3750 m) where you will spend the night at the foot of the mountain.
Day 6 : ERFOUD/ MERZOUGA DUNES /TODGHA/VALLEY OF DADES 350 km
Travel the southern landscapes, to Tafilalet, the cradle of the dynasty that has reigned in Morocco since the 17th century. See the blue waters of Meski, the thermal baths of Rich, and finally the golden majesty of the dunes of Merzouga. After an excursion in the dunes, ascend the High Atlas to reach the famous throats of Todgha and Tinghir, with their sheer cliffs of 250-height m.
Day 7 : THROATS OF DADES/OUARZAZATE/MARRAKECH 350 km
Cross the Throats of Dadès and take the famous “road of the thousand kasbahs”, along the valley of the roses to the palm plantation of Skoura and Ouarzazate, the city of the cinema, where lunch awaits you. Cross the High Atlas via the pass of Tichka, the highest of Maghreb (2.260 m), as you travel to Marrakech by the laurel road and its awe-inspiring landscapes.
Day 8 : MARRAKECH
Breakfast. Free time dependent on the time of departure. Transfer to the airport and receive assistance until the boarding. Or extend your stay and discover more of the wonders and sights of Marrakech.
